A Dreamy Elopement in Orlando, FL

Welty and JaMarkus crossed paths in 2021 on JaMarkus’ job where Welty was a client. Months later, she kept running into him. “We remembered each other but never really exchanged numbers or contacts but we both felt some chemistry. I was convinced by a friend to join a dating app and reluctantly I did. After about two days I saw his profile and messaged him, ‘Hey I think we’ve met’. He replied quickly and we were on a date the next day.”

The lovely couple have been inseparable ever since and tied the knot in a romantic elopement style wedding in a quaint chapel in Orlando, Florida. Get inspired by their intimate wedding day, captured by Bridal Suite member Nativ Lens.

Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day.

Because our wedding was an elopement, it was a very peaceful day. Not a lot of noise or fuss. It was planned and crafted for and by us. My husband is always calm in the midst of the storm. I’m often anxious in big moments like this. However, this was exciting for the both of us. Our wedding was so intimate in the most amazing way. The day felt so sacred.

Wedding song, explain choice for song: A violinist played the traditional wedding song, “Canon D” for our wedding.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

We are most excited about building our life together and creating our own family. We are both only children and have always wanted a large family. We are excited about buying a home, traveling, growing our careers and having children.
