Michael and Ozelle met in December of 2022 on the dating app, Hinge. Fun fact: Their wedding date is their dating anniversary as well. Ozelle shares, “Michael made our relationship official March 13, 2023, which made choosing March 13, 2026 as our wedding date even more special.”
From the moment guests arrived at the Winter Park Events Center, the atmosphere was set: elegant, intentional, and beautifully refined. Guests understood the assignment, arriving in stunning fashion and surrounding the couple with genuine love and unity. Every detail spoke to a couple who didn’t just plan a wedding — they curated an experience. The editorial, luxe aesthetic felt like something straight out of a fashion spread, elevated by handcrafted personalized pieces — all made by the bride herself. But behind the beauty was a story few could have imagined.
Just months before her wedding day, Ozelle traveled to Ghana to find her wedding dress and returned home with something she never expected — agonizing pain. Doctors told her she needed spine surgery immediately. She could barely walk, sit, or lay down. The aisle she had dreamed of walking felt uncertain. Yet through prayer, declaration, and a husband who covered her in her most broken moments, something miraculous happened. Ozelle walked down that aisle — without surgery — on her wedding day. The sight brought tears to Mike’s eyes. “It’s only a miracle that I’m walking right now without surgery. I owe God all the praise and honor”, Ozelle says.

Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day.
Our big day was absolutely perfect and was a blessing from God. Seeing our closest friends, family and loved ones was true joy. Having Michael’s father officiate our wedding was a moment we will cherish forever. We created so many fun memories that we often reminisce on to this day. We would repeat that day over and over again!
Wedding song, and the significance of the song: Our wedding song was “Thank God” by Kane Brown. Faith is at the center of our lives, we attribute all of our blessings and successes to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This song was such an embodiment of that because we’re just two imperfect people whose paths ultimately led us to one another. I think we both had moments where we didn’t think true love for us was possible but we thank God for showing us otherwise.
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
We’re excited to continue exploring the world together and creating new memories through travel. We cannot wait to grow our family and welcome our little mini me’s someday! Most importantly, we look forward to seeing our purpose and impact as a kingdom couple play out in real time.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
