Ashlee and Bobby’s story began in 2020. Seemingly overnight, there was a global pandemic and lockdown, a time riddled with uncertainty, fear, masks, and a new way of living. Amid the chaos and a move to life online, Bobby found Ashlee on Instagram through a mutual friend. He sent a simple and polite message, and the two have spoken every single day since. A friendship bloomed before romance had the chance to come knocking. And once it did, love quickly followed.
Over the last six years, Ashlee and Bobby have built a life together through countless milestones: graduations, relocations, new careers, traveling, and growing in love. Through every new chapter and adventure, they have had the privilege of doing it together. Their love for each other grows every day, and they are excited to celebrate the next major milestone. In October of 2024, Bobby planned a surprise-filled birthday weekend around Ashlee’s favorite things, including eating, volunteering, and a little pampering. He thoughtfully planned the grandest of finales: a sunset dinner aboard a yacht in Miami. On the day of the proposal, there was a steady downpour that made for an unexpected change of scenery. The two set sail against a gray sky and rocky waters. As the yacht came to a halt by the Bayside Ferris wheel, Bobby got down on one knee and popped the question.
At that moment, the rain paused and Ashlee’s favorite song “Just the Two of Us” played in the background, and the couple’s friend and talented photographer Gaetri, emerged from the cabin to capture it all. It was not exactly the forecast Bobby had in mind, but it was a perfect proposal and the most memorable day nonetheless. And most importantly, for Ashlee, it was the easiest yes to forever.

Ashlee and Bobby are most looking forward to celebrating with the people who have shaped their lives and supported them throughout their journey. They are so excited to start a new chapter surrounded by love and share a beautiful evening filled with joy, memories, and some fun wedding surprises.
