Oprah's Life You Want Weekend is more than an unprecedented eight-city arena tour, it's a transformational weekend that takes you on a journey to connecting with your deeper self. This past weekend Oprah and her team of trailblazers created an experience unlike anything I have ever experienced. The weekend started at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, with "O Town,” a pop-up town square outside the arena filled with booths, lounges, live music, cooking demos, celebrity guests and photo kiosks taking place throughout Friday and Saturday. On Friday night, Oprah stood center stage and shared her personal story and insights to life, in what felt like an intimate conversation between friends. Not only was it inspiring, but it also left us with an even greater respect for Oprah as a media icon and as a human being. On Saturday, Oprah brought us into her "Life Class" with a day-long workshop led by her team of trailblazers, which included Iyanla Vanzant, star of OWN’s hit series “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” Elizabeth Gilbert, regular O Magazine contributor, best-selling author and spiritual life coach and best-selling author of Eat Pray Love, Pastor Rob Bell, one of Time 100’s Most Influential people, and Mark Nepo, poet and philosopher. There is only one word to describe this amazing experience– Phenomenal. Check out my favorite moments as well as 10 things you can start doing today to live the life you want, from Oprah and her Trailblazers from the Newark, NJ tour stop on Oprah's Life You Want Weekend Tour.
