Engagement story

My then fiance, planned an intimate family brunch at the waterfront in Old Town, Alexandria, VA on Christmas Eve of 2022. I didn’t think anything of it because our parents have been talking about getting together for some time. The brunch was near the end, and I saw a champagne bottle come out. Clueless, I asked Christopher what we were celebrating and he said Christmas and family coming together. Before you know it my father had everyone around the table say what they’re thankful for (per usual), but it ended at Chris. He grabbed my hand and stood me up, went down on one knee and I lost it.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?

The planning period has been beautiful but also exhausting. This past Saturday, our wedding day was so beautiful! We couldn’t wait to see all our loved ones from near and far in one place. It surpassed our wildest dreams!
