When Shea approached us about writing for Black Bride in the area of beauty and fashion we couldn't have been more excited! Shea has a positive outlook on life and a great personality! She is filled with enthusiasm about being a part of the BB team and more importantly she shares our vision with hope and tenacity that together we can make a difference, in supporting woman of color in the bridal industry. We love her attitude and mindset!
Shea Zephir is a writer and make-up artist based in Harlem, NYC. Her work focuses on fashion, art, and culture. She is currently the fashion editor at The Harlem Times and contributing writer for XEX Magazine. Mulch-faceted in various areas of the arts, Shea Zephir is a Renaissance woman who believes in the celebration of the black woman and that she has the power to define her own personal style through the freedom of a diverse platform of fashion and beauty collections. Shea holds a B.S. in Fashion and Marketing from the Art Institute Philadelphia and is a graduate of the Make-Up Designory School in Soho, NY with a concentration in Beauty Artistry.
