Casa Ylang Ylang Styled Shoot

Ariana and Khaleel said “I do” with a whimsically modern wedding style shoot that featured vibrant blooms and magical color palettes that showed everyone that a fairytale union is certainly attainable. The mix of bohemian chic elements, lush backdrops, as well as the glam place settings and centerpieces are simply a dream come true. Add in the bride’s gorgeous gown and artistically-designed wedding cake, and we’re sure you’ll look forward to adding pops of color to your special day. Check out these stunning details, captured by Cortellia Photography at Casa Ylang Ylang in Homestead, Florida.

Pink Wasabi: Beauty Events Style, a Florida-based event management and design company, teamed up with a group of talented vendors from Miami-Dade to bring this luxurious wedding styled shoot to life. Here is what Jennifer of Cortellia Photography had to say about this ethereal styled shoot:

“This wedding was designed to showcase the unique and quirky design of the property and our couple. Since the house is white, with whimsical details, I decided to add color to every part of the design. Everything from the bride and groom’s wardrobe to the table settings were meant to complement the property and the playful nature of our couple.”

Shoot location: Casa Ylang Ylang, Homestead, Florida

Shoot theme: Whimsical

Color combinations: Pink, Blue, Cream

Favorite detail: The smoke bombs used during the ceremony

Decor Details:

Linens:

I used white Sedona tablecloths with “Bahamas Breeze” colored table runners.

Centerpiece Description:

I don’t really do centerpieces, more like center displays. This included a mix of blue and white porcelain vases and clear glass containers with origami cranes as the dominant piece within a collection along with some smaller glass pieces also used for the flowers. I wanted mostly pink peonies, as well as other pink and yellow blooms to tie the look together.

Place Settings:

I mixed pink, gold and ivory plates and glassware for the reception table. However, I used teal, gold and ivory for the sweetheart table.

Favors:

The favors for this shoot were an assortment of sweets from Sugarfina. They were in three-ounce clear glass jars with gold-rimmed covers. I added pink and blue tassels for added presentation.

Stationery:

The 24th Ave Designs watercolor and gold foil invitation suite complimented the whimsical design of the entire wedding. Only One Mark created a handwritten tropical suite with table numbers, escort cards, and vows. She also penned the chalkboard signs.

Please share unique details from your shoot:

An extra detail I added were the napkins, which were Sedona serviettes in coral and yellow.

We can’t get enough of this gorgeous styled shoot. Share your favorite details in the comments below.
