Fashion Friday: Black Bride Announces A New Wedding Gown Collection By Therez Fleetwood – Blackbride.com

Historically we have done something that has never been done before in more ways than one. We are changing the industry with the first collaboration between an online resource for brides of color, and a celebrity gown designer! Thank you Therez Fleetwood Bridal, for helping us celebrate brides across the globe with our new exclusive exquisite bridal gown collection. Designed with a classic twist on wedding gowns, and unlike Therez’s original designs…this collection is for brides who crave simply stated elegance when walking down the aisle in a gown that is timeless, classy, elegant, and made with the finest fabric. We also have a vintage gown in the collection, named “Lena” inspired by Lena Horn, it is a sexy classy vintage gown for the bride who loves all things vintage.

We are sharing one of the first gowns in the collection today, the “Jacqueline gown” inspired by Jacqueline Kennedy. We will share a few more in the collection before the official debut on the runway at the 2013 bridal show. The bridal show is set for Sunday January 13, 2013.
