Real Engagements {New Jersey}: Tiffany & Jimmy! – Blackbride.com

Tiffany and Jimmy met in 2003 at Tiffany's sweet 16 party through a mutual friend. Jimmy was a senior in high school and Tiffany was a junior. Their courtship was short-lived as they lost contact when Jimmy went off to college that year. About 7 years after their initial meeting, the two connected in 2010 on Facebook and began dating. The happy couple has been together about 4 and a half years and is preparing for their wedding this February. Check out their wintery engagement session, captured by Molina Photography.

Engagement story:

On November 30, 2014, for Tiffany's 28th Birthday Jimmy planned out the entire day. It was a Sunday, so the day began at church followed by brunch at the Chart House, the "first date" restaurant, which she felt was so thoughtful. While at brunch, Jimmy informed Tiffany that they would be going to Rockefeller Center to ice skate and though she was trying to be a good sport she was hesitant to go ice skating because not only was she not dressed for the occasion but she also can not ice skate. Jimmy told her everything would be fine and they made their way to NYC. Little did she know the surprise that would come her way at Rockefeller Center. Much concentration was needed for Tiffany to make her way around the rink while Jimmy was having the time of his life skating by Tiffany several times. She was not thrilled lol. It was not until she stopped for a break that a crowd of people began to call her name and she looked up to see several family members and close friends holding up "WILL YOU MARRY ME" signs… It was beautiful and of course she began to cry… Jimmy came sliding across the ice with the engagement ring in hand and asked, "Will you marry me, babe?" and the rest is history.

What makes your love special?

Our love is special because we hold God at the center of our relationship. He is the foundation on which we have been able to grow something very special and we are very thankful for it. Mark 10:9 “What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.”

What was the theme for your engagement shoot?

We wanted to give a “winter love feeling” within our pictures. We are having a winter wedding and wanted that to be shown within our pictures.

Were there any memorable moments during the shoot?

The most memorable moments during the wedding shoot are the pictures that were taken in the small entrance to the Maplewood train station. This area has graffiti on the walls and I feel gives the “love and art” type of feeling.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?

I look forward to the abundance of love that will be felt throughout the day! I am looking for God’s blessings to be so evident throughout the day that I am overwhelmed with love and happiness. I can’t wait to experience such a special day with my forever love.

Congrats to the happy couple Tiffany and Jimmy! We wish you a wonderful wedding and marriage.
