Abbria and Keith met at a cookout that was being held by Dream, a non-profit organization that benefits minority middle school aged boys. Abbria had reluctantly arrived at the event after a day of shopping and met with her friend Brio who had been asking her to come all day. "I arrive at the cookout and finally meet with Brio and he proceeds to introduce me to the people there. A handsome guy walks by and says 'Hey Abbria' I speak back not knowing how he knows my name. I quickly ask Brio 'Who is that?' with the he’s cute tone implied." It turns out that the cute guy that Abbria was checking out was someone she actually knew from college. Keith and his twin brother were engineer students at NC A&T. Abbria and Keith talked for a while and caught up on life after college. Although Keith didn’t ask for Abbria's number that night, their paths would soon cross again. "My friends all have birthdays in September so we planned a trip to celebrate. While planning the trip in the parking lot of Friday’s restaurant, Keith drives up. He comes over to speak to my friends and me (Brio included) and somehow gets invited on the trip."
