Kelton prayed daily for a wife that was beautiful, independent, smart, loving and most importantly driven. Little did he know that his prayers would be answered the moment he met Shavara. The two met when Shavara started working at a mortgage company where Kelton worked at the time. However, this was no love at first sight. Kelton immediately noticed Shavara’s firm, aggressive handshake and initially thought that although she was lovely, she seemed kind of rude. However, despite their rough start, Kelton and Shavara’s friendship grew into a deeply meaningful relationship. It didn’t take long for things to become crystal clear for Kelton. He realized that the woman he had been praying for was right in front of him all the while. Seven years after their first meeting, the couple made their union official with a lavish wedding celebration in Shavara’s hometown, Houston, Texas!
