Interracial marriage in the USA reached an all-time high in the past 2 years. According to Pew (no pun intended) Research Center, about 15 percent of couples meeting at the alter — or one in 12 — across the country are between spouses of different races or ethnicities. That amounts to 4.8 million couples, more than double the number in 1980.
