Creating the perfect wedding guest outfit can be difficult in any season, and trying to be  fashionable and fancy in the winter can be twice the headache. But it definitely does not have to be. When attending a winter wedding consider dresses with heavier fabrics, sleeves and cuts that are easily paired with jackets and blazers. It is also the perfect time to pull out fabulous pants, shawls and scarfs. If you are attending a wedding close to the holidays add some shimmer, or wear a festive color such as red or emerald green.

Long gone are the days where the only rule is not to wear white. Although that rule still stands, unless asked to wear a certain color, there are several other things you should consider while pondering your attire for a wedding. Consider the fit as well as the color and length as it pertains to the time of the event. Make sure you choose something that is going to be comfortable to wear for a long period of time. Also be sure to match your outfit with a shoe that will allow you to dance the night away.
