Joelle and Cary met at the beginning of their freshman year in college in 2013 through a mutual friend from their hometown. The two quickly became friends and officially became a couple in 2014. First Look

Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day.

Our wedding weekend officially kicked off with a Callejoneada—a traditional parade of the bride and groom with their guests, a traditional Mexican band, a donkey, and giant papier mâché puppets that represent the bride and groom. After the Callejoneada, the celebration continued at Tres Marias Rooftop for a welcome cocktail that turned into an unforgettable night! Our wedding day was at Casa Adela, with a direct view of San Miguel de Allende’s Mountains. We were both nervous but excited to see everything come together, and it did so perfectly!

Joelle: My most memorable moments were our private vows, reception entrance and first dance, and the party.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple? Continuing to grow and build together, supporting each other’s goals, and continuing to explore and travel the world together. We also recently moved to London, so we’re excited to take on that new adventure together.
