The glitz! The glam! The oh-so-showstopping gowns and jewelry!

The 2016 Oscars and the Oscar Red Carpet were full of memorable moments and fabulous gowns we can’t get out of our heads. The Academy Awards is an event that never seems to disappoint from a fashion perspective but this year, the looks were better than expected. We loved the mix of old Hollywood glamour and the new minimalist looks with sleek silhouettes. And let’s not forget the over the top jewelry choices by the celebs on the 2016 Oscar red carpet. from bracelets to over the top necklaces the display of diamonds was absolutely remarkable.

Not being able to choose 5 looks or even 7 to round out my top looks from the 2016 Oscar Red Carpet, I decided to pick all 12 of my favorites. This award season, the red carpets have been a breath of fresh air with trends I loved the most were seen at the Academy Awards as well. Long Sleeves, The deep v-neck, 3D florals, Illusion lace and beading and minimalist designs as if that’s not enough really caught my eye.
