Tara and Moshamba’s love story began over 25 years ago when they met in 1996 while working for the same company. Tara was walking into the cafeteria and could see Moshamba watching her out of the corner of her eye. He was such a gentleman and didn’t waste any time. He made his intentions clear and everything else is history! The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with a beautiful all-white vow renewal ceremony. How did you know your partner was the one? We both just knew it. We connected and the vibe was perfect!

What makes your love special? Our love has been tried. We’ve been able to overcome major adversities that have tested our commitment. After 25 years, our love WINS!

Tara- My husband is the most compassionate person. He protects our family and we are his top priority. He is my safe place. The strength, support, and love I receive from him has been consistent for the past 25 years. He’s the absolute love of my life and I’m grateful God chose me for him.

Moe-My wife a.k.a “Mama” is my best friend! She keeps me balanced and makes me whole. She completes our family and keeps us in line. She’s the perfect nurturer, and brings God’s spirit in our home. She’s my secret sauce and the best mother and wife. I am who I am because of her and I’m grateful she’s my wife…AND SHE’S HOT!

Engagement story : Moe isn’t the least bit shy. After our second date he made it clear I would be his wife. No special proposal, just a simple proclamation: “I’m going to marry you!”

To say I felt like a queen is an understatement. EVERYTHING, was absolutely perfect! The day was magical. We had the absolute time of our lives celebrating 20 years of love with the most amazing people. Our wedding planner (Albriana Youyoute) took our vision and executed it in the most professional way. Her talent is unmatched.

Favorite wedding moment:

We played the arm guessing game. I was blind folded and we had about six guys line up and had to guess which arm was his. I guessed incorrectly. Lol! It was fun.

Your best/most memorable moment as a married couple so far : We renewed our vows so after 20 years of marriage we’re constantly reminiscing about how faithful God has been. The challenges both good and bad we’ve experienced and how through them all we’ve made it. I would say our most memorable moments would be the never ending memories we’ve created with our children over the years.

What’s the best part about being a married couple? We’ve been able to watch each other mature and grow to become our best selves in every area of our lives and we’ve done it together!

What’s the best advice you received about marriage that you actually use? Keep GOD in it and family out of it! Lol!
