What makes your love special?
Communication and friendship is what makes our love special. We are always together and always communicating with each other.
Engagement story:
The night before we were driving up to Cape Cod for vacation, Kenny didn’t get much sleep and we had to talk the entire 4.5 hour drive to Massachusetts. When you have that long to talk, you eventually get to talking about life plans and we decided that we wanted to get married that year on Dec 26, which was Kenny’s late grandmother’s birthday. We were in the middle of a pandemic and it was the last week of August so we had just 4 months to pull it all together. Not your typical story but its our story. We wanted to end the year on a high note.
From the Bride: (briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how you felt on your big day)
This wedding is what I call a labor of love. Although I had just 2-3 months to finalize all the details, which was stressful at times, I must say it was the best experience. Everything went smoothly and I was able to work with amazing people. To me it was a sign that our wedding was destined to be. On our wedding day, I felt so calm and happy. The wedding day was beautiful and everything came together as I pictured it would. The day was nothing short of amazing.
From the Groom: (briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how you felt on your big day)
My wedding experience was very exciting and calming all at same time. Having a planner was the best thing ever. Our planner, Simone, was very attentive and patient throughout the process. She answered every call and email and took care of everything. The entire event was exciting and spectacular from the beginning to the end. The only time I got nervous was watching my future wife walk down the aisle. I completely lost it and the tears started to flow. I would definitely do it all over again.
Your best/most memorable moment: Most memorable moment of the wedding was when I was walking down the aisle and I unexpectedly started crying and then realized Kenny was crying more than me when I finally got to the altar.
Wedding song, explain choice for song: Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”; it’s our song from when we first started dating and fell in love. When you are first falling in love, you never want that feeling to end and this song describes just that, a never-ending love.
Favorite wedding detail: The sparklers!
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple? All the new memories and experiences that we will have together. We are especially looking forward to traveling together and experiencing the world together.
Advice for a Bride/Groom on their wedding day: Enjoy the day! Everything may not go as planned or according to schedule, but remember that one thing is likely not a big deal compared to the fact that you and your partner are about to become one.
