How did you meet?

Prior to moving to Denver in the summer of 2012, a mutual friend gave us each other’s contact information. We both had recently gotten out of serious relationships and neither of us was particularly looking for anything other than a friend in a new city. After weeks of trying, we finally found the time to meet and ended up talking for 3 hours non-stop. With both of us being from Northern Virginia, it was truly amazing that this was the first time our paths had crossed in a meaningful way. Four years later we could not be more grateful of the plan God had for our lives.

What makes your love special?

We’re both big kids at heart, our ability to goof around to no end or make one another laugh is incomparable. The world is our playground, we love traveling and gaining new cultural experiences together. We provide the perfect balance to our opposite personalities.

What was the theme of your shoot?

We didn’t necessarily have a theme. We wanted to be sure that our shoot really encompassed the things that make up who we are and what we love. We love adventure, cooking and being one with nature. Living Colorado, we knew that we had the opportunity to get a perfect mixture of all three. All together, the eclectic them truly encapsulates the fun and excitement that defines our relationship.

Were there any memorable moments during the shoot?

While shooting in Rocky Mountain National Park, we quickly recognized that we had been smack dab in the middle of the park during mating season. So the noisiness of the elk and the enchanting views of the mountains, weirdly enough made us feel like we were recreating a scene from “The Sound of Music.” Running through open fields, while taking a few moments to take in the vastness of the park truly made this the most memorable moment of the shoot
