For this styled shoot we wanted to capture a classic, white glam wedding with accents of blue. This fictitious couple Layla and Oliver is a couple who wanted a beautiful elegant wedding integrating a bit of their south Asian heritage. Having a white themed wedding may be simple and understated but very elegant. The Dumbarton House, a historical federal period house, was the perfect setting the elegant and romantic feel. The Angel Rivera wedding dress with the tulle ruched top added a feminine and romantic feel. The groom’s classic black tuxedo is classic and modern at the same time. The beautiful white cake was glammed-up by decorating with silver and crystal sugar pearls. Also an assortment of butter cookies, vanilla mouse, and cake pops completed the dessert table and added a modern component to the wedding reception. The invitation and graphic designed used a beautiful romantic script with a modern moiré. The floral arrangements were an assortment of hydrangeas, lilies, roses, and delicate white orchids. The cobalt blue goblets act as bold accents to enhance the white theme. The wedding reception would not be complete without wedding favors- miniature Prosecco bottles to continue the new nuptial celebration.
