Groom Style: Unique Boutonnieres by The Ritzy Rose! – Blackbride.com

When it comes to dressing your unique groom, traditional styles won't do!  Especially when it comes to Boutonnieres. Gone are the days of assorted flowers being pinned to your honey's lapel. Today, unique non floral boutonnieres are all the rage.  Not only are boutonnieres an expression of your groom's style but they are also an awesome gift for groomsmen and other members of the groom's party. We got a chance to catch up with the husband and wife entrepreneur and designer team behind The Ritzy Rose at the WedAltered event earlier this year in NYC.  We fell in love with their unique, custom designed, man friendly Boutonnieres.  Check out some of their cool designs below.

1. What is the starting price point?

We have some smaller boutonnieres for $25 and $35 (specifically the bullet boutonnieres), but the standard starting price for a majority of the designs in our shop is $50.  A custom boutonniere design costs between $75-125.  We offer discounts for multiple pieces.

2. What are some of the materials that are featured in your boutonnieres?

These are mostly metal- from vintage spark plugs and old toy cars to bullet casings and watch faces.  We incorporate small touches of rhinestone or enamel flower, but the key elements are always vintage "guy" things.

3. What's the best way to purchase?

You can purchase any of our ready-made boutonnieres, as well as arrange to have a custom boutonniere designed just for you in our shop: http://shop.theritzyrose.com/

Fun Fact: Did you know that the boutonniere and the bridal bouquet were created for similar reasons- To ward off bad smells, disease, and evil spirits.
