Centerpiece Description:

“Romantic and elegant stationery were set to complement a soft and delicate tablescape, complete with a lamp and custom photo frames delicately adorned with flowers. Those lush flowers were oh-so tempting for the flower girl.” – Clarity & Class

“I took a romantic play on the floral arrangement with wholesale and locally sourced blooms from my personal garden, including hydrangeas, tulips, roses and greens. I wanted to create a design that was both elegant and unique with hanging flowers. I also wanted to incorporate flowers into the photo frames to provide an extra touch of authentic design.” – Flower Diary Design

Place Settings:

“The place settings were simple and classic with three glasses, chargers, china and a gray napkin with a supporting menu in the stationery theme.” – Clarity & Class

Cake:

“When we were asked to partake in the Love and Lace Bridal Shoot we were more than excited. We knew that with this shoot we would have the opportunity to show a different side of creativity with our cakes. We decided to provide a 5-tier cake that showcased texture and soft, muted colors that went with the theme of the shoot. Upon arriving we added fresh florals to really tie in the cake with the remaining aspects of the shoot.” – 5-12 Dessert Boutique and Lounge

Stationery:

“When designing the stationery, we combined a beautiful lavender and silver to fit the romantic theme of the shoot, but we also wanted to add some “bling.” In both the menu and invitation, we went with soft satin ribbons, complemented by large silver bling buckles to really up the elegance factor while remaining feminine and soft. We also chose to use a more modern style in the font selection to keep the design fun and more in line with what couples today are looking for.” – Creations By Sasha

Fashion:

“The Sarah Seven ‘Whitman’ is a classic bohemian gown with a hint of sexiness. This ivory bridal dress has a flowing, chiffon a-line skirt that is so much fun to wear and has an effortless elegance about it. The lace bodice has a slightly darker underlay that really allows the lace to pop. With a plunging neckline and crisscrossed back, this bodice is perfect for the bride who is not afraid to show some skin on her wedding day.” – Fab Frocks DC

“I handmade the stylish wedding garter to be a modern heirloom for the bride. The wedding garter was designed with a luxurious ivory satin and an overlay of ivory lace. A wedding garter is a small, but meaningful way for the bride to celebrate her personal style and honoring her wedding day with a delightful garter that she’ll cherish forever.” – The Garter Girl

< strong>Hair & Makeup:

“We decided to give our model soft, textured waves. To achieve this look we used Wella EIMI products. We prepped the hair with Wella EIMI Perfect Me and Root Shoot, and gently used a dryer to style the hair. We then moved on to a 1-inch Marcel curling iron. Making sure the iron was nice and hot, we wrapped the hair into the curling rod, waited 10 seconds and then released the hair in a twirling motion. We did this until the hair was completely done. Finally we finished by applying Wella EIMI Ocean Spritz. Then taking a half of pump of Wella Oil Reflections, we mixed it in our hands and gently tossed her hair around, giving her a soft and shiny, textured wave look.

For our model’s makeup, we started with a skin moisturizer and mixed it with the Eve Pearl Primer and Benefit gold highlighter. We chose to keep her eyes light by using neutral colors on the eyelids and gently adding a soft blue-grey on her outer edges for a sensual feel. Her cheeks I dressed with Eve Pearl’s creme blush. We finished with some Ardel textured strip lashes, Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer and a gentle red for the lips. We kept her look as organic as possible to make her makeup appear effortless.” – Yesli HMUA

Please share unique details from your shoot:

“The most unique aspect of our shoot were the locally-sourced flowers. The draping bouquet was designed to provide an additional alternative for drooping tulips. Another excellent element was the energy between the flower girl and the bride. That seldom gets highlighted in wedding style shoots.” – Clarity & Class
