This story is so heartfelt and sad. We weren’t going to post it, as we do not like to post sad news however, it’s so moving and there is a lesson to learn. We’ve all heard the sayings…”appreciate what you have while you have it” and “you’ll never miss your water until the well runs dry” as it relates to love and relationships. Of course the sentence in traditional wedding vows, “for better and for worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part.” In today’s society where divorce is seemingly the norm when difficulties arise within marriages, this heartfelt story exemplifies what true love and staying together through thick and thin is really all about.
After being married for one month to his wife Keasha Ruteleage, former NFL star, Chris Draft was given the sad news that his wife succumbed to her battle with cancer. The couple married in a moving ceremony back in November in Atlanta. Their wedding is beyond a fairytale.

Watching this video of the couples wedding, it’s obvious they are in love and the love is overflowing. Keasha used a wheelchair for the most part going down the aisle, and amazingly although sick, she pushed herself to walk the last few steps to meet her groom at the alter. What strength she had to make it through what will surely be the most memorable day of Christopher’s life.
