Engagement story:
We got engaged in London. We were staying at Claridges and dining at Hakkassan. The ring was hidden in the inside pocket of a new purse to keep the whole thing a surprise. She said yes and the champagne was flowing all night!
What makes your love special?
A real connection, a true soul mate.
What was the theme for your engagement shoot?
We wanted to showcase NYC in the photos as it’s been such a big part of both of our lives and relationship. We each moved here because we love the city, and it’s where me met, so it will always be extra special for us. Style-wise we wanted to minimize the “cheesiness” of posed-couple photos and try to get a more reportage feel with an edge. Our photographer, Haimy, hit it out of the park in my opinion.
Were there any memorable moments during the shoot?
It was about 15 degrees outside which I don’t think any of us will ever forget! So naturally we had to make a pit-stop at a Russian Vodka bar about half way through to warm up!
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?
Being married (smile).
