Shenetter and Dennis met in 2006 while they were both working for the SITEL company. In 2008, one of their managers suggested that they would make a good couple and that they should date. Both Shenetter and Dennis responded with “nope, that’s okay.” However, three years later their managers suggestion would come into fruition. In January 2011, Shenetter received a message from Dennis on Facebook. The two chatted through Facebook messaging and then exchanged numbers. After about a month of frequent phone calls, Dennis finally asked Shenetter out on a date. A few short months later the two became an official couple. The couple will tie the knot at The Bridge of Faith Chapel Christian Center in Birmingham, AL. Check out their aviation themed engagement shoot captured by The Price Approach Photography.

Engagement story:
The engagement was something that I always wanted Shenetter to remember. I thought about proposing on graduation day or going to her job, but I wanted to do something different since she wanted the memory to be done by a photographer. So, I had a talk with our photographer Bryant and told him that we should do a photo session on November 11, 2012, and that would be the date that we been together for a year and half. So on that date we went to church together, and after church we went to Railroad Park to take our pictures. We took a few pictures, and while she was sitting down I got on one knee and ask her to be my wife. I had been praying about the proposal and I knew exactly what I wanted to say, and she said yes. It was a moment that we both will never forget.
For the Groom: How did you decide that you wanted to propose in such a grand way?
I wanted to propose in a grand way because I wanted the moment to be memorable for both of us. We can always look at the pictures and remember that special moment. I got with my Photographer Bryant Price and explained to him that I wanted to do a photo session for the engagement. He said we could do it at Railroad Park in Birmingham. I chose November 11, 2012 because that would be the day that we have been together 1 year and 6 months. I had been praying about the engagement and wanted to do it right.
What makes your love special?
What makes the love special is because we both prayed for each other. We both want to succeed in our lives together because we are a Team.
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?
I'm looking forward to our Pastor saying "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife."
Have you started planning your wedding?
I started planning the day he proposed, maybe even before the day he proposed lol.
Congratulations to Shenetter and Dennis on your engagement! We wish you a wonderful wedding day and marriage!
