Tell us about your Invitation Design Company?

Luxunery was born out of a demand for high quality custom stationery with exceptional customer service. Many couples today are unsatisfied with online stationery companies that treat them as just another sale. Engaged couples prefer to speak with someone face to face and be able to express their ideas as well as see and feel the quality of work. Therefore, Luxunery prides itself in providing the ultimate customer service experience locally, nationwide and throughout the Caribbean. Our designs are inspired by our clients ideas, style and event theme. We are known for capturing the vision of our clients by creating a design piece that exceeds their expectations.

How did you get started in the invitation industry?

Graphic design has been my passion and field of work for almost a decade. I started creating wedding programs for close friends in 2004. Their guests loved my work so much that they would utilize my services and refer me to other couples getting married. In April of 2012 when the multimedia department at my full-time design job closed, it pushed me to launch out on my own. That’s when I incorporated Luxunery which is a fusion of the words Luxury & Stationery.

How is your custom invitation business different from others on the scene?

Compared to online stationery companies Luxunery provides a personal and comfortable design experience from start to finish. Compared to other local stationery companies our mission is absolute customer satisfaction. We ensure that our client’s vision is manifested and that we exceed their expectations.

Describe your clientele:

We have created stationery for a diverse clientele of African Americans, Caucasians, Hispanics and Indians. However, the majority of our clients are African Americans, Hispanics, and couples throughout the Caribbean

What is your main inspiration for your designs?

My greatest design inspiration comes from my clients. Once, I sit down with a bride or bride and groom I can feel their sense of style and I get ideas and inspiration from hearing them speak of their special event.

How do you come up with your designs?

My experience in graphic design allows me to come up with a pattern or graphic that predominantly has a luxurious and classic feel. Then I build upon that foundation with the ideas, style and theme of my clients.

What tips would you offer to brides who are looking to purchase custom invitations?

Don’t settle for less. This is a special moment in your life that you will cherish for years to come. If you have a dream of how you want your custom invitations to be, you must find a designer who will take the time to consolidate your ideas, focus on the details and bring your vision to life.

What is your favorite part of designing?

The reaction on my clients face when they see the actual sample for the first time. Their expression of excitement is a very rewarding and fulfilling feeling
