Taylor and Vincent’s love story began in 2013 at the University of Arkansas. Vince came to work on his second degree, and Taylor was just beginning her sophomore year. While Vince was getting a tour of campus from a mutual friend, they were introduced to each other. It wasn’t love at first sight, but a beautiful friendship began. However, by Christmas break, Vince shared that he had feelings for me and they decided to make it official in April 2014. Almost ten years later, the lovely couple became husband and wife in a glam New Orleans wedding ceremony, captured by DSW Photography.

Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day.
Our wedding day was a dream! From the very start of the day, things just flowed wonderfully. Huge shoutout and thank you to our planner, Delia, and her team. The communication between her and us and our vendors could not have been any better! We decided to do a first look, and of course, there was some anxiousness and nerves (on both sides) leading up to it. However, our getting to see each other before walking down the aisle in front of our family and friends, made all of that melt away!
Our ceremony was so beautiful and our reception was LIT!! All of our guests had an amazing time and haven’t stopped talking about it since! Our second-line exit was the perfect end to the most perfect night!
Side note: One thing I would suggest to all couples on their wedding day- make sure you eat! Our venue was amazing for many reasons, but one of the top 3 reasons they get a 10 out of 10, is that they made sure Vince and I had a chance to eat- uninterrupted. During that time, we shared some very special, reflective moments of the ceremony while we shared our first meal as The Stewarts! It was one of my favorite parts of the day.
Wedding song, explain choice for song:
“Love of My Life” by Brian McKnight. Before Vince proposed, he started a conversation around our favorite songs. One of the questions was, “What is your favorite love song?” This song immediately popped into my head. With the help of one of my best friends, the song was playing when he proposed, so it felt natural to play it for our first dance.
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Vince and I have been together for a long time, but there are still so many firsts for us to experience as husband and wife. We have big life plans- some of which include us having a family, achieving our financial goals, and exploring the world! We are so grateful for all the blessings we have received in our lives and in our marriage, and can’t wait to encounter the everlasting blessings God will bestow upon our marriage.

Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish them many years of wedded bliss.
