An Elegant Garden Wedding in Hiram, GA

Jalisa and Chibuike’s story proves that love can show up in the most unlikely place. In January 2015, they were both grocery shopping when their paths crossed. The two made small conversation before exchanging numbers. About a week later, they went on their first date and found out that  they lived about 5 minutes from each other. In June 2015, they went out to celebrate Jalisa’s birthday and at the end of the night, they told each that they loved each other for the first time. Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day. Include your most memorable moment.

We decided to host a micro wedding with a small bridal party, so that our most important family and friends could enjoy the day with us. It was so beautiful to have those that truly supported our union there.

The most memorable moment was during our introduction and first dance into the reception where we looked into each other’s eyes the entire time and it felt like we were the only two in the room and it was all about us!

“1 +1” by Beyonce. The song perfectly describes the power of our love. It signifies how love will last until the end of time no matter what.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

We look forward to creating new experiences and building a family together.

Advice for a Bride/Groom on their wedding day:

Remember that the day is about you and your spouse only. The day goes by fast so be sure to take it all in. Everything may not go exactly as planned with so many moving parts but it will still be beautiful and nobody will notice the small things.
