Baltimore’s Own Bridgerton: A Regal Affair at the Historic Peabody Library

In July of 2018 Antoinette and William met through social media (kind of). Antoinette saw a short video of Will on a mutual friend’s Facebook page and was immediately infatuated with his personality. Shortly after, the mutual friend linked them together, and from that day on the two have rarely been apart. In fact, a month later they were vacationing in South Africa together! The couple’s vision of a Bridgerton-themed wedding was brought to life by planner Serene Events and Design, and all the beautiful moments captured by L. Hewitt Photography and videographer Mid 80’s Media.

Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day.

Our wedding day was nothing short of magical. We are deeply family-oriented, so it was important to us that the day felt like a celebration not just for us but for our loved ones as well. Against the stunning backdrop of the Peabody Library, Serene Events and Design transformed our vision into reality. From the moment we walked down the aisle under an arch of lights, accompanied by the beautiful sounds of violinists and live singers, to the unique bookshelf seating chart, every detail was thoughtfully crafted.

The evening concluded with an unforgettable party led by DJ Mark Battle of One Sound and Entertainment, leaving us and our guests with memories to cherish forever. When people ask us what we would change about that day, we always say, “absolutely nothing.” It was truly a night to remember.

Wedding song, and the significance of the song:

“Always and Forever” by Whistle became our first dance song, though it wasn’t our original choice. But fate has a way of guiding us. Just three weeks before our wedding, we experienced a near-death car accident, a moment that shook us to our core. In the aftermath, the lyrics of this song resonated with us in a way we never expected. They reminded us that, above all, love is what brought us together and what will carry us through anything life may bring. It was as if the universe whispered to us that this song was meant to be ours, a testament to the strength and endurance of our love.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

As a married couple, we are most looking forward to continuing to build together. In our vows, we spoke about the power of light, how individually we have shined, but now, coming together as one, we are excited to build and shine as one unified light. This journey of combining our strengths, dreams, and aspirations into a shared future fills us with anticipation and joy.
