Amanda and Dino’s initial connection happened online on Match.com in March 2021. The two started messaging through the app for about a week before exchanging numbers, which eventually led to FaceTiming. With Dino’s schedule as a pilot and frequently being out of town they decided to have their first date at Urban Axes in Austin, Texas followed by coffee at Summer Moon.
To their surprise, when Amanda and Dino first met they were dressed in the same shade of olive green and many people commented on it while they were out. That must have been a sign of what was to come because a year later the lovely couple tied the knot in a modern wedding at the Barr Mansion in Austin, Texas. Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day. Include your most memorable moment.
There were so many memorable moments, I’m not sure I can choose just one. But when I was getting dressed in the bridal suite, a gift arrived for me from Dino which was a gold necklace and locket pendant. When I opened the locket, it had a picture of my father and myself as a baby. It was thoughtful, and exactly what I needed in that moment as my father passed fourteen years prior.
Also, when I was getting dressed, I looked out the window, saw guests being seated and started feeling nervous. Then I spotted Dino, and he looked so handsome it really hit me that minutes later we would be married. There are so many moments from Dino’s vows, to the mother/daughter dance, to the speeches, to us entering the reception area for the first time and seeing all of the flowers and our vision really come to life (I didn’t get a chance to see it before the wedding). They were all memorable.
Wedding song, explain choice for song: The music we played was not traditional or mainstream music.
Advice for a Bride/Groom on their wedding day: There are many decisions that need to be made and multiple options. You will change your mind and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean you are unorganized or don’t know what you want, it means you can identify and make selections based on preference to make your day as special, unique and noteworthy as you want to make.
Stay true to your vision, compromise on your terms and make sure you have fun. Solicit day of personal help even if you think you have it handled. I didn’t realize I needed help until the day of the wedding.

Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish them many years of wedded bliss.
