A Bohemian Elopement Styled Shoot on the Oregon Coast

There’s something extra special and insightful about an elopement. When you melt away all of the distractions that often come with a big wedding, you’re left with what’s truly most important to you. The goal for this styled elopement was to showcase how you can have a simple adventure elopement that is still amazing!

Destiny Alrik, Owner/Photographer of Black Salt Photography collaborated with a team of talented vendors to make the vision for this styled shoot come to life:

“We kept the décor simple with just some florals and hanging lights inside the yurt. Renting yurts on the Oregon coast is actually really affordable and is a great option for the adventure inclined who don’t want to camp in a tent.

We really wanted to focus on natural beauty throughout the day. We kept Patricia’s hair and makeup light and didn’t add anything more to the epic nature at their ceremony spot and instead let it speak for itself. Some of my favorite moments are when Patricia and Stefan are just looking at each other romantically and being in the moment. The snuggle session at the end is the perfect way to sum up the wedding day experience and more couples should do it!”
