Chloe and Najm met in 2014 while attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where they first locked eyes after a homecoming week concert. Najm reached out to Chloe online shortly after, sparking a connection that marked the beginning of their journey. Though they remained close friends for several years, their relationship officially began on January 5, 2019.

Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day.
Najm and I felt overwhelmingly blessed on our wedding day and it was really important to us to honor God for the blessing of our union. As a designer, and a bride that was highly involved in our design process, I was extremely anxious to see how the vision would be executed.
There were many things to be grateful for on the day of our wedding, but one of the biggest was that we would have our families in the same place- and most meeting for the first time. The family dynamic for myself (Chloe) is complicated, and this was the first time my father and mother would share the same space together. In addition to this, my mother and fathers sides of the family have mostly never met. The day was truly a celebration of families coming together by the grace of God and the power of love.
Wedding song, and the significance of the song:
“Sweetest Love” by Robin Thicke. Najm and I wanted to hear a song that would be different from the songs we would usually hear at a wedding. One day I randomly heard that song and at that time we had not yet picked out our wedding song. I sent him this song along with two other options and he chose this one. For us, the song was sentimental enough yet still upbeat enough for an upbeat and feel good dance routine.
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Traveling the world, starting a family, and seeing how God will continue to bless our life and union with His will.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
