Beauty Glam: A Bridal Styled Shoot in South Bound Brook, NJ

The morning of your wedding is full of excitement, anticipation, maybe even some champagne—and it sets the tone for your walk down the aisle! Bridal suite glam has been trending lately with brides elevating their getting ready experience by wearing gorgeous, sexy robes and having their bridal suites decked out with stunning backdrops and lush florals. 

Abby Ayeh of Pretty Posh Events, Rejoice of Hair at Ease Beauty, and a team of talented vendors share more of the vision behind this beautifully curated styled shoot captured by Aida Malik Photography:

“Rejoice of Hair at Ease Beauty, a master at her craft, held a masterclass for bridal hair styling, and this provided the perfect opportunity to showcase our version of the bridal room glam. 

The beautiful models were styled in different, but very chic bridal hair updos with bridal robes that reflected the sophisticated looks we were going for. A gorgeous tablescape finished up the shoot to show how the florals from the backdrop can be tied into a reception room look.”

Shoot Theme/Motif/Inspiration: Rejoice Ginika of Hair at Ease’s brand color is purple, and that was her one request to incorporate purple all around.

3. For the tablescape, designing the florals on the floor to look like steps up to the main table — what comes to mind when looking at the design is literally stepping up our design game.

Decor Details

Linens:

Greyish, dusty blue velvet linens made the perfect base to highlight the various shades of purple flowers. 

Centerpiece Description:

The centerpieces were designed as a color blocked floral runner in a low clear vase to enable the arrangements to sit perfectly in the middle of the table. We modified the typical look of a cascading floral runner by placing lush arrangements on clear pedestals that created the look of florals on steps leading up to the main table. 

Place Settings:

The gold trim charger plates, along with gold flatware, perfectly complemented the entire look of the tabletop design. The black napkins added a modern, yet elegant touch to the table. 

The perfectly square modern menu cards from Bushel & Peck Paper had shades of purple florals that beautifully complimented the overall look.
