Engagement story

Their engagement was beautifully intentional from the start. After several months of courtship, Bryce went on a fast in April and May to seek the Lord about when to propose. Once he felt led to September 2025, he began planning.

While Brianna was on a mission trip to Ghana in August, Bryce flew to Tampa, Florida—where she lived, as they were long distance—to ask her parents for their blessing. They happily said yes. The following month, Brianna traveled to Atlanta to visit him, and during her flight, she felt confirmation from the Holy Spirit that the proposal was near.

Bryce told her they were heading to dinner and the aquarium but needed to make a quick stop first. That stop was his family’s ranch. After asking her to close her eyes for a prayer, he said “amen,” and she opened them to a red carpet lined with photos and candles leading to a sign that read, “Will you marry me?” After sharing heartfelt words, he got down on one knee. When she said yes, they walked into a nearby building where their closest friends and family were waiting to celebrate at a surprise engagement party.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?

The presence of God, hands down. This marriage is greater than us, and we can’t wait for all who will be there to be a witness to His faithfulness.
