A Boho Chic Wedding in Baltimore, MD

In April 2015, Jermaine was working as the photographer for  the “Cool Women: Hot Jobs” event  at an all girls school in Baltimore, Maryland. He saw Ashley who was there as a  presenter to talk about her job. It was at that moment that Jermaine said to himself, “That’s my wife.” Six years later, the lovely couple tied the knot in a boho chic ceremony captured by Kenny Clapp of Clapp Studios.  Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how  the both of you felt on your big day. Include your most  memorable moment.

Wedding planning was mostly smooth  sailing with quite a bit of anxiety creeping in the background as  policies were constantly changing due to COVID-19. The day  of our wedding was the most relaxed we both have ever  felt. Jermaine’s most memorable moment was waiting for  Ashley to come down the aisle. He was overcome with  emotions, both nervous and excited. Ashley’s most memorable  moment was standing at the altar as Jermaine recited his  vowels. It was in that moment that she felt the most seen and  incredibly loved.

Wedding song, explain choice for song:

“Conversations in the Dark” by John Legend because that was how  we spent the first couple years of dating; late nights deep  in conversation after long days of working and  unpredictable travel.

What are you most looking forward to as a married  couple?

Growing old together and eating our favorite  donuts together.

Advice for a Bride/Groom on their wedding day:

Weddings go by fast, after the ceremony take a few minutes with  your partner to soak in the commitment you just made to  one another. And most importantly, allow the people you  hired to do their job. Enjoy the moment.

Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish them many years of wedded bliss!
