Kate Spade Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot!

From Halle Neeley:

This Kate Spade styled shoot was inspired by the charm and playfulness surrounding a summer brunch wedding. These daytime nuptials generally take place in the early afternoon which is perfect if your venue offers a lot of natural lighting. Brunch weddings are my favorite because couples are able to create their perfect day from start to finish. Not only do brunch weddings allow more time for celebration, but the couple can be super creative when selecting menu items. From eclectic coffee stations to desert and mimosa bars and even wedding cakes made from waffles, the options are endless.  Additionally, couples have the opportunity to save with vendors especially the venue, considering most brunch weddings take place on Sundays. The goal was to embody the fun, playfulness  and whimsical aspects of the modern fashion designer into every aspect of the shoot. You can look forward to a mix of patterns, metals, bows and touches of hot pink of course.

Shoot location: Venue 92 Woodstock, Georgia

Shoot theme: Kate Spade

Color combinations: Black, White, Gold, Lilac and Hot Pink

Favorite detail: The pink and purple flowers amidst the black and white striped ribbon in the bouquet.

Styled shoot details!

Linens: The linen covering the Mimosa Bar is a gold metallic jacquard while the sweetheart table is dressed in a black and white striped print block polyester.

Centerpiece Description: The gold vases and candelabra contain centerpieces comprised of varying shades of pink roses and lilac colored orchids.

Place Settings: We decided to keep the place setting fairly simple. The guest table showcases gold flatware alongside gold rimmed square chargers, glasses with gold polka dots and champagne flutes adorned my metallic gold paper straws. The sweetheart table has the same gold flatware but is placed next to cream color charger plates with gold polka dots. The champagne flutes stand next to “Mr” “Mrs” cylinder shaped flutes.

Stationery: Rose gold polka dots are used for accents on the envelope and table numbers. The escort cards and remainder of the stationery suite layers cream, gold and black paper contrasted by sharp lines and gold accents in true Kate Spade fashion.
