Everyone knows that in order to make your wedding day extra special there are some major things you will have to check off your to-do list. Among the biggest decisions you'll have to make is choosing the right venue for your big day. The entire atmosphere of your wedding will be created by where you choose to hold it. The venue's style will be key to defining the rest of the wedding theme. Many couples even choose to build their theme around their venue of choice.
Here is what planner and designer, Erika Bowers of Erika's Elegance Weddings and Events had to say about the vision for this jaw-dropping styled shoot at the Hotel Indigo in Los Angeles:
"We are partnering with this beautiful hotel to provide small and intimate weddings and wanted to showcase the property and the glamour that it can bring to one's wedding."

Shoot location: Hotel Indigo, Downtown Los Angeles, California
Shoot theme/motif/inspiration: Modern glam
Color combinations: Black and white with gold accents
Favorite detail: The mixture of gold and black toned flatware for the tablescape
We used shantung napkins; there were no linens as we had a white acrylic table.
A mixture of tall and short centerpieces were used. The lower centerpieces were put in black glass containers and were filled with hydrangeas and the tall centerpieces stood on custom made gold stands and were full of white roses, hydrangeas and ruscus greenery to give it a lush effect.
The charger was black with gold trim and we used a white plate trimmed in gold with a polka dot fill.
We had a very modern look for the stationery. The invite was black with a gold geometric band and a white inverse RSVP card.
The welcome sign was white acrylic with gold lettering and the menu card was black shaped in a funky geometric shape.

All of the elements put together gave it a very modern, glam look. The black velvet chairs paired with the white acrylic table gave the design a very sleek look. We also decided to put the groom in a burgundy velvet jacket to give the shoot a bit of a flair.
