Our Own Private Island of Love…Song Saa! – Blackbride.com

Welcome to Song Saa, Cambodia's first (luxury) private island resort.  Just a short 35 minute boat ride from the port of Sihanoukville and you arrive into your own tropical paradise.  With most of the island remaining underdeveloped, you and your love will truly escape the hustle and bustle of the world and submerge yourselves into true natural beauty.  What awaits you is clearly breath taking scenes that one would see on a postcard.  Spend your leisure afternoons exploring the virgin rain forests, tropical reefs and beautiful white beaches.

Each day you will enjoy sunrise or sunset views from one of the 27 villas, comprising of Jungle or Over-water villas.  Each villa offers a private sanctuary of its own where you can shower looking over the sea, or have the resorts chef prepare a special dinner for two under the stars.

What I loved most about this amazing destination are the philanthropic endeavors from The Song Saa Foundation and Pack for a Purpose, where Song Saa guests are encouraged to "pack light", while leaving a little extra room in their luggage for school supplies.  The children from the Prek Svay Village (which is the closest village to the property) are blessed from all over the world with this seemingly small gesture.  Giving is such a wonderful way to experience love to the fullest.  What a wonderful way to begin your life as "one".
