Journey To The Aisle: A Wedding Planner Bride Series by Ashley Miller: Scene 8

I’m so glad you decided to join me for Scene 8 of my “Journey to the Aisle” series.  I must say life has been moving so fast and the countdown is real. In less than 35 days I will exchange vows with my Prince Charming! The past few weeks have been filled with amazingly joyous moments. My Hunny and I closed on our 1st home and my girls went above & beyond to host a beautiful bridal shower for me.

Showing appreciation to those who are sacrificing their time, talent, and money to shower you with love is a must. Wedding participants have vested interest in your special day. They have been by your side on the emotional wedding planning roller coaster. They have attended dress fittings, accepted long phone calls to assist with wedding decisions, planned your bridal shower, partied like teenagers at your bachelorette party, bought wedding attire, and so much more. It's only right to return the love.

Appreciation can be showed in different ways. We all love tangible gifts, but try to do something that involves time with your girls. Creating a true moment to cherish beyone the wedding. Yes, we all have busy schedules but planning in advance should do the trick. Plan a night out for wine tasting or book a spa day for pedicures. It will be well worth it. If you can’t afford to do much, simply invite the girls over for dinner and champs.

Allow the day to just be about sharing your appreciation, so save the wedding chat for another day. To be honest, as a bride you need a break too.

See you in two weeks; same time, same day.

Planner Tip: Don’t forget about the guys. As women, we have the nurturer bone in our body, men sometimes miss this. Help your groom by providing him with a few gift options and place the order. The groomsmen will thank you later.
