By their senior year of high school in 2008, their bond had deepened into something more, and they officially began dating. Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day.
Our wedding experience was beyond anything we could have imagined. The anticipation and anxiety of what was to come was high for the both of us but we were calm and very excited to see our vision and all of those months of planning come to life. The entire day went great, from the preparation for the both of us, our wedding ceremony, the reception, everything worked out in our favor. Looking back, it was the perfect day to celebrate love, our day, we’ll never forget it.
Wedding song, and the significance of the song:
Fridayy – When It Comes to You. Every time we hear this song, we think about our wedding ceremony. Terry and our firstborn son walked out to it, and as I waited in the distance and heard it begin to play, I remember saying to myself, “Showtime.” To this day, our son refers to it as our wedding song.
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Legacy. Everything we’ve created together so far, God has blessed tremendously. We look forward to the fruit that generations after us will enjoy from the seeds we’re planting today. We’re also excited to create lasting memories with our children—experiences they’ll never forget.
