Elopements offer couples a uniquely intimate and adventurous way to exchange vows, away from the constraints of a traditional wedding. In light of the pandemic a few years ago, elopements have surged in popularity, providing a safe and personalized alternative to larger gatherings. These intimate ceremonies allow couples to focus on their love and commitment without the pressures of a grand event, resulting in a truly meaningful and unforgettable experience.
Contrary to popular belief, elopements can be as breathtaking and significant as a traditional wedding, offering the opportunity for couples to create memories in stunning locations and embrace the spontaneity and romance of tying the knot in a more private setting.
If you are considering eloping, get ready to be inspired by these stunning intimate ceremonies!
Raven & Wiley

Being Mary Jane Actress and Black Bride Magazine’s 2023 cover girl Raven Goodwin and financial executive Wiley Battle headed overseas to Greece and tied the knot in a romantic wedding ceremony in 2021.
“Initially, we wanted a huge wedding, but then the pandemic hit and we were in a bubble with our newborn. No matter what we did, we could not narrow our list down, and we felt like it was an inconvenience to ask everyone to come out. I had to ask myself, “Why do you want a big wedding?” One of my good friends, who was also planning a wedding, had eloped. At that moment, God said to me, “This is what you need to do.”
That night, I asked my friend about her wedding, and she said it was perfect. I talked to Wiley, and he said he was ready. We wanted our family to be whole, especially for our daughter. We did some research and decided to go to Santorini, Greece.”

“Deciding to elope was the best decision we’ve ever made. No stress or chaos. Just love. If we had to choose a word to describe our union, it would be POWERFUL.
Our most memorable moment was when we held hands and stood in the freezing water. It defied all logic, but made the most sense. We felt like we were the only two people in the world. “
