Love in the City: A Romantic NYC Engagement Session

Mya and Devin’s love story unfolded from a familiar past into an unexpected romance. Though they grew up in the same neighborhood and even shared classes at the same high school, their paths rarely crossed beyond a passing glance. It wasn’t until years later, when Devin sent Mya a direct message on Instagram, that fate stepped in to bring them closer. One reply was all it took to spark a connection that turned into a beautiful journey toward forever.

Engagement story : Mya’s family had planned a trip to DR. Devin decided that this was the perfect opportunity to propose. Mya is very hard to surprise so she was looking for every opportunity for him to propose but Devin wanted it to be a good surprise. The whole family was on the beach one afternoon. Mya was talking to her mom and sister with her back turned. Devin seized the opportunity and got down on one knee. When Mya turned around she was in complete shock that she even let out a scream.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding? 

 Mya: I am looking forward to having all our loved ones coming together to celebrate our love and having a good time.

 Devin: I am looking forward to enjoying that day with the love of my life, taking in every moment and having fun while doing it.
