Timing is everything, especially when it comes to love. For Jerina and Paul, when they met over twenty years ago in New York City while working together, they would go out to lunch every day. When they got transferred to different jobs though, things changed. Jerina shares more of their story:
“He called me exactly 2 times but I had the nerve to ignore both of them. Thankfully, nine years later we connected on another job we were on together. This time I returned his calls and here we are sixteen years later!”
After many long years together, Jerina and Paul decided to tie the knot by opting to keep it simple in an elegant micro-wedding at the Rittenhouse Hotel with only fifteen guests in attendance. The couple also hired the local mayor of Doylestown, Pennsylvania to marry them! See more from their beautiful day captured by SGW Photography.

Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how the both of you felt on your big day. Include your most memorable moment:
Our wedding experience was fun! It was hard at first because we had a small party of 15 guests and most places required a bigger guest list. We finally found a really nice venue that was described online as one of the “prettiest private dinning rooms in a restaurant in Philadelphia to have a wedding”.
We got married at Lacroix restaurant inside The Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia, PA which is one the best hotels we’ve ever been to and stayed at. We worked with Madison Gentile who is the Senior Complex Catering Sales Manager at The Rittenhouse Hotel. She was so professional and helpful and she was always available to answer questions and give valuable suggestions. The catering staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. The food was delicious. The table bouquets and my bridal bouquet could not have been more beautiful! Our wedding was flawless.
Wedding song, explain choice for song:
Pachelbel’s Canon in D. We both like classical music and this is one of my favorites.
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

Advice for a bride/groom on their wedding day?
Try to stay calm and be in the moment because things move fast.
