Briana and De’Teruis met in November 2011 at the Florida Classic football game in Orlando, Florida. After the game, the two were introduced to each other and they hung out that same night. After the weekend was over, Briana wasn’t sure if she would see him again since she was a sophomore at FAMU and would go back to Tallahassee. However, due to De’Teruis’ persistence, the two stayed in contact. Once De’Teruis moved to Tallahassee a few months later, they made it official and their love journey began. Engagement story (please tell us the story of your engagement proposal and your most memorable moments) :
De’Teruis proposed to me in front of our closest family and friends at Centennial Park in Atlanta, Ga. Saying yes to De’Teruis was the easiest yes. Being surrounded by people who truly love us was such a beautiful moment to share.
Were there any memorable moments during the shoot?
Our engagement photo shoot was so much fun! Our photographer Neshaszda, really captured our love. I feel like our engagement pictures tell a story that we will be able to show others and will treasure forever.
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?
I was looking forward to walking down the aisle and seeing my husband’s reaction.
