A Modern Glam Wedding in Washington, D.C.

 Ilana and Ben met in 2009  while attending Grambling State University.  Ben, with a few of his line brothers, wanted to know if the  track team would be in town for an upcoming Alpha party.  Somehow between talking about the Alpha party and Ilana’s track practice, Ben and Ilana engaged in a deep  conversation.  They both sat in front of the café for what felt like a few  minutes, but turned out to be hours.

The two kept in  touch and in 2018 Ilana moved to Washington, D.C. for a  job opportunity. Shortly thereafter, Ben and Ilana both started dating  and tied the knot four years later. See more from these college sweethearts’ stunning wedding day captured by Tunji Studios.

Briefly tell us about your wedding experience and how  the both of you felt on your big day. Include your most  memorable moment. We felt elated! We thoroughly  enjoyed all of our friends and family getting together in one  place. The most memorable moment was walking in the room at  the beginning of our reception.

“Dressed in White”  by Cal. We thought this was the perfect song. It was about  being with someone for the rest of your life. That’s exactly how we felt. 

What are you most looking forward to as a married  couple?
